Founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is an evidence based secular (nonreligious) intensive mindfulness meditation training program. Since the beginning, MBSR has been at the forefront of scientific research revealing time and time again that those who practice in mindfulness based practices experience an enhanced sense of well-being within the challenges and difficulties of post modern life.

This is your program if you struggle with stress, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, sleep, relationships issues, immune system functioning, weight management, concentration, communication, and you’re ready to explore mindfulness and meditation as a way to access a deeper realm of well-being.

Learn six meditation practices for stress reduction; including mindful movement
Explore seven introspective mindfulness practices to enhance self-awareness and discovery
Get unstuck; transform the root cause(s) of reactivity, worry and distress through mindfulness
Each class consists of practice, dialogue, discussions to enhance understanding/integration of practice
Each week home practices are assigned to support understanding/integration of the practice
Ten (10) sessions
1 x 90 minute orientation + 8 x 2.5 hours sessions + 1 full day x 8 hours
